013: Luke Saxon

Welcome to the Idle Hands Society Podcast - where we hope to discuss and learn more about the effective creative process.

In this episode, Dan and Paul talk with Artist and Photographer, “Yonner” Luke Saxon. Luke shares how he started in photography,  and how experimenting with his work is key to his creative process.  We talk about style and what it is, and how the buzz of creating is what drives him on.

Reach out to us @idlehandssociety. Your hosts today are @dan_s_higginson, @paulbenceuk and @luke_saxon on Instagram.

I’m interested in the transformation of the current and the presence of the past. My main topics are gender, human relations and faith. For me, the camera is a tool to contemplate different human phenomenon to uncover what unites us – rather than what divides us. I wish my photographs to be windows into other worlds, as well as mirrors reflecting back.
